This product is a Metal Injection Molding (MIM) medical micro component, typically used as surgical instrument hinges, micro gears, connectors, and jaw joints. MIM combines the shape freedom of plastic injection molding with the material versatility of powder metallurgy, enabling one-piece forming of complex 3D micro structures difficult to machine. For medical surgical instruments with small size, complex shapes, and high precision, MIM is the optimal choice.

We use medical-grade 316L or 17-4PH precipitation-hardening stainless steel powder, through precision mixing, injection molding, catalytic debinding, vacuum sintering, heat treatment, electrolytic polishing, and passivation. Density reaches 7.6-7.9 g/cm³, tensile strength ≥500 MPa (316L) or ≥1100 MPa (17-4PH after heat treatment), hardness HRC 20-45 adjustable. Surface roughness Ra ≤0.8μm, excellent corrosion resistance, compliant with ISO 10993 biocompatibility. All production is in clean workshops, sterile packaging available.

Our engineering team will then conduct DFM analysis and propose optimized solutions.
