Sintering for Production of Auto Parts-Shock Absorbers

Powder metallurgy is progressively replacing traditional casting and stamping methods due to its superior speed and cost-effectiveness. This manufacturing process utilizes metal powders, including recycled waste from metal production, to create components with high durability and wear resistance. Through sintering, parts can be formed with precise geometrical accuracy, typically eliminating the need for additional machining.

The production technology involves placing metal powders into specialized molds where they undergo thermal treatment in a controlled gas atmosphere.
