Guangzhou Guangming Metal Products Co.,Ltd manufactures oily metal bearings using advanced powder metallurgy technology. These bearings feature controlled porosity of 15-20% and are pre-filled with high-quality lubricating oil, providing continuous self-lubrication during operation. Ideal for low-speed, low-load applications where regular maintenance is difficult or impossible.

A oily metal bearing with a uniformly interconnected porous structure is manufactured by mixing high-purity iron powder with appropriate amounts of copper powder and graphite powder, followed by precision pressing and high-temperature sintering. The porosity is precisely controlled within the range of 15-20%, and after vacuum oil impregnation, the lubricant filling rate reaches over 85%. During operation, the heat generated by the oily metal bearing causes the lubricant to seep out from the pores, forming an oil film. When the oily metal bearing stops working, the lubricant is absorbed back into the pores, achieving long-term self-lubrication.

Powder metallurgy is the preferred manufacturing process for oily metal bearings, primarily due to its porous forming characteristics. It allows for the direct creation of bearing bases with oil storage and self-lubricating capabilities. Compared to traditional processes such as machining and casting, it offers significant advantages in functionality, production efficiency, cost control, and application suitability. It is currently the mainstream process for the mass production of oily metal bearings, suitable for various light-to-medium load, low-noise self-lubricating transmission applications in motors, home appliances, office equipment, etc.

1. One-step forming of a porous base, directly achieving the core self-lubricating functionPowder metallurgy utilizes the gaps between powder particles to form a porous material with a porosity of 15% to 35% after pressing and sintering. The pores uniformly store lubricating oil, eliminating the need for additional machining of oil storage structures.

2. Near-net shape forming, adaptable to oily metal bearings, with minimal machining.The inner bore, outer diameter, steps, flanges, and positioning grooves of oil-impregnated bearings can be formed in a single pressing process using customized precision molds. Only minimal finishing (such as precision pressing and grinding) of the mating surfaces is required to achieve assembly accuracy, reducing machining by over 90%.
